Liquid City Vol 3
Themes:
For Liquid City vol 3, creators will be asked to write/draw the last comic they would do if they knew the world was about to end.
What this means:
- Hopefully it’ll be an interesting way for creators to approach their story, to do something that feels meaningful to them.
- We don’t know how everyone will respond to this idea, but look forward to everyone thinking ‘outside the box’!
- Page numbers should be between 6-12 pages (if more are needed we can discuss)
- We care open to all kinds of comics formats, including comic strips, collages, photocomics etc. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

What this does NOT mean:
- Your story does NOT have to have an apocalyptic setting (though it can be). Personal stories, humorous stories, art comics, fantasy, surreal comics… we are open to all genres and styles.
- Your story does NOT have to be the Greatest Comic you’ve ever done: Just something meaningful to you at this moment in time. It can be irreverent, political, light-hearted – just because it’s the end of the world it doesn’t mean you can’t have fun (though you can be serious if you want to!)
- Your story does NOT have to set in Southeast Asia (though it can be).
1. Initial Story Pitch Deadline: November 30th (Response by Dec 15th)
2. Story Thumbnail Deadline: Jan 31st (Response by Feb 28th)
3. Final Art Deadline: May 31st

What this means:
1. Post your initial Story Ideas by Nov 30. This will be the story synopsis, plus character designs and sketches, if any. Editors will respond with any suggestions by Dec 15th.
2. Post your Thumbnails by Jan 31. These should allow editors to read the entire story – clear indication of panels, characters and dialogue. Editors will respond from the beginning of Feb, and we’ll work towards final thumbnails by Feb 28th.
Thumbnails will be posted on the Forums, with everyone welcome and encouraged to give feedback, though final decisions will be a matter of discussion between the Content Editors and creators.
